Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 April 2026 · Effective immediately

Welcome to Truveil. These Terms of Service govern your use of Truveil, an AI agent accountability and audit platform operated by Truveil. By creating an account or using Truveil, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Truveil captures decisions made by AI agents you deploy, generates accountability audit reports, and provides analytics and reporting tools. We provide the platform; you provide the agents and the data they generate.

2. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and your personal API key. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Truveil, or use the service on behalf of an organisation that authorises you to bind it to these Terms.

3. Your Data and Content

You retain all rights to the data you submit to Truveil, including AI agent logs, decisions, and metadata ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not sell, share, or use your Customer Data for any purpose other than providing the Service. We do not use your Customer Data to train AI models.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Pricing and Payment

Truveil offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled. We may change pricing for new subscriptions at any time, with at least 30 days notice for existing subscribers.

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel your subscription at any time; your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance, which we will communicate in advance where reasonably possible. We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

7. Intellectual Property

Truveil, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by Truveil. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. We retain all other rights.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, we may use them without obligation or compensation.

8. Audit Report Outputs

Truveil's audit reports are produced by a combination of deterministic risk-classification algorithms and natural language generation. The core audit logic — risk scoring, gap detection, and failure classification — is rule-based and consistent. Plain-language explanations are generated using enterprise large language models.

You acknowledge that audit reports are informational tools to support your accountability practices. You are responsible for reviewing reports before relying on them for compliance, legal, or business decisions.

Truveil's audit reports do not constitute legal, regulatory, or compliance advice.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in ways that harm us or other users.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, unless retention is required by law.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Truveil is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or one hundred United States dollars (US $100), whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Truveil and its operators from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your Customer Data, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Truveil is operated. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through written notice and 30 days of negotiation.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
